size, stainless steel thru-wired this is a super needlefish!
3/8" molded eyes and all kits are
sanded out to 150 grit and require minimal fine sanding.
All
components are included except for split rings and hooks which we
recommend VMC 3/0 treble hook
for the belly
and a 3/0 dressed treble or 5/0 or 6/0 Siwash on the tail of this lure.
We use only USA made components in our kits!
Very simple retrieve on this lure, either walk
it up top, or let it sink and fish the bottom.
This
needlefish is an advanced kit. It requires installing multiple lead
weights with epoxy and re-drilling the thru-wire with a 5/32x4" drill
bit.
We recommend this is done with a battery drill or hand drill for
safety. It requires sealing, minor
sanding, and painting/finishing.
These kits are all turned on our dedicated kit cnc machine and drilled
with precision and duplication second to none!
Can be painted with ordinary spray bombs,
or seal first and then paint with acrylic paints and a small brush
from AC Moore,
let them dry thoroughly and coat with a few coats of
clear spray paint or brush with epoxy etc in thin coats for more
durability.
Others more advanced can use an airbrush and Createx paints.

YES the eyes are supposed to be smaller
than the recess. That is part of what gives a wad needlefish it's look!
The eyes sit in the middle of the recessed area as in the below
