	Proper presentation of this needlefish is to cast, then slowly retrieve while occasionally twitching the rod tip to impart a "injured baitfish" look to the lure. Keep the rod tip up while reeling and maintain contact with the lure. These needlefish are slow sinkers tail first, so you can work the bottom easily also if you let them sink. Fish them with a teaser and they are deadly! The Patriot needle is excellent when there are bluefish around-no dressed bucktail on the back means less movement which tends to attract them. Stripers still love them! They're a pretty versatile lure and can be worked a bunch of different ways. If you'd like they can be changed to a dressed tail hook and will be the same lure as our standard 2.5oz version.
