Sandman's 2008 Fishing Log Calendar
|
Beautiful full color 12x24"
Calendar with all the features of a typical calendar but more useful to
a fisherman! Keep them year to year to compare your fishing successes
and failures! The 2008 calendar features Cuttyhunk and the Elizabeth
Islands.
US holidays, Moon phase as well as perigee and apogee dates are
conveniently noted to plan for those big tides. |
|
| One of the
easiest ways to keep records of fishing activities without it becoming a
“chore” is by simply jotting brief notes on a calendar. Complex computer
methods offer more features however many of them were found to be
ineffective, time consuming and complicated to use. Just by noting your
fishing location, time, tide, weather conditions, results…etc, on one of
these calendars makes for a quick, simple and organized approach to
record keeping that will improve your fishing consistency for years to
come. It is great looking on the wall too with visual reference
materials that are targeted for the fishermen and useful forever. |
|
| The photos on
these calendars are not pretty pictures of tourist attractions, but are
intended to assist fishermen with scouting the coastal territory prior
to any trip. This is the collection of shoreline photos, which I've
taken from planes, boats and the shore to help me scout-out good fishing
terrain. Multiple flights were taken at each location to obtain these
photos.
This calendar should give you genuine feel
for what kind of terrain and waters you will be facing. That really is
the purpose of these images, not to unveil “secret” places to fish.
Whether you are fishing the near-shore waters from a boat, or
surfcasting from the beach I think you will find this attractive, easy
to use and useful. Complex fishing logs or computer based fishing logs
have more details but are cumbersome to use and most fishermen
eventually abandon them. This you will look at regularly, use and refer
back to. Over the years, you not only save your valuable fishing data,
but also create a serious library of visual references for key fishing
destinations that will assist you in planning your fishing excursions
for many years ahead. |
