Hand Turned and sealed. VMC Permasteel 4X strong 3/0 Belly hook with 90 lb 2X strong split ring loose in package for easy rigging, 150 lb Rosco swivel, Stainless Steel hardware where possible. Basic Black color, and pre-rigged with through wired rear tail loop to add your own buck tail teaser on the back if you don't want to use a skin. This lure makes a very nice swimmer for bass at night.

Proper presentation of this swimmer lure is to cast then very slowly retrieve, stop occasionally, and also occasionally twitch the rod tip to let the lip throw some water.  These lures are designed to be surface swimmers,
to rig a eel skin on and give it a great action! It will swim slightly tail up with a nice wiggle.
Fish key in on the V wake and wiggle action that these produce
and will explosively hit these lures!

These can also be fished as a straight black swimmer too! Rig it with a plain buck tail teaser on back, don't use a tail hook, just a stub with buck tail tied on it to keep the action real nice.

Eelskin swimmers were an old time way of using dead eels. 
Stretch a skin over the plug and hold the skin on with a piece
of dental floss or monofilament in the groove on the lure.
This lure fits medium sized and up skins very nicely.
